Japanese Urushi Technique - Creative Workshop at Hotel Maistra 160

You will learn the technique of Fuki Urushi or wiping lacquer - the simplest method of application. Parallel to the manual work, you will gain an insight into the old and rich lacquer culture of Japan, China and Korea. You will pigment and lacquer one or more bowls in Fuki Urushi You will deal with the subject of design *You will get to know a very old craft

Prerequisites: Curiosity, enjoyment of learning a centuries-old technique & patience! The course is aimed at people aged 12 and over.
